The Norwegian National Youth Orchestra is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the country’s leading music education institutions, orchestras, festivals and concert organizers. This contact is crucial in order for us to maintain our status as a viable and attractive institution on Norway’s classical music scene, and it is invaluable in our efforts to provide our best music students with a high quality orchestra course and offer our growing audiences performances imbued with superb musicianship and a deep love of the repertoire.
The orchestra has, through its membership in EFNYO (European Federation of National Youth Orchestra), close contact with sister orchestras throughout Europe, and is participating in the exchange program MusXchange. The partnership provides opportunities for musical exchange in connection with courses and projects, exchange of both management and musician level and collaborative projects.
